Day 1: Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa María

Your Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu begins with hotel pickup in Cusco at approximately 6:00 AM. We'll travel by private tourist transportation through spectacular Andean landscapes toward the Abra Málaga Pass (4,300 m / 14,108 ft).

Abra Málaga – Mountain Biking

From Abra Málaga, begin an exciting downhill mountain bike ride toward the warmer cloud forest. The descent takes approximately 3 hours, depending on the group and road conditions.

Along the route, experience a dramatic change in climate and vegetation, passing through lush cloud forest, coffee plantations, coca crops, and traditional Andean communities.

Arrival in Santa María

Upon reaching Santa María, enjoy lunch and settle into your accommodation.

Optional White-Water Rafting

In the afternoon, you can optionally participate in a white-water rafting adventure on the Vilcanota River, with approximately 1.5 hours of rafting on Class III–IV rapids, subject to weather and river conditions.

Overnight in Santa María

After the activities, return to Santa María for dinner and your first overnight stay at a comfortable guesthouse.

Day 2: Santa María – Inca Trail – Quellomayo – Cocalmayo – Santa Teresa

After breakfast at approximately 6:30 AM, begin the second day of your Inca Jungle Trek with a scenic hike toward Santa Teresa.

Santa María – Ancient Inca Trail

The first section includes approximately 2 hours of uphill hiking through the lush tropical environment. Along the trail, we'll make several stops to learn about the region's flora, fauna, agriculture, and local way of life.

We'll visit a local family home where you can rest, purchase water, and sample some of the region's fresh tropical fruits.

Inca Trail – Quellomayo

Continue along a section of the ancient Inca Trail, which historically connected important settlements in the region. Your guide will explain the history of the Incas and their sophisticated communication and road systems.

Along the route, enjoy spectacular views of the Huancarccasa Canyon before beginning the descent toward Quellomayo, where we'll stop for lunch.

Quellomayo – Cocalmayo Hot Springs

After lunch and some time to relax, continue hiking for approximately 2 more hours toward the famous Cocalmayo Hot Springs.

Take some time to relax in the naturally warm thermal pools surrounded by tropical mountain scenery.

Cocalmayo – Santa Teresa

After enjoying the hot springs, continue toward Santa Teresa, where you'll spend the second night at a comfortable hostel.

Day 3: Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric Station – Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, you'll have the option to participate in an exciting zip-line adventure through the tropical valley, subject to availability and weather conditions.

Santa Teresa – Urubamba River

After the optional activity, continue toward Santa Teresa La Vieja, where we'll cross the Urubamba River before beginning the scenic hike toward the Hydroelectric Station.

Hike to Hydroelectric Station

The walk takes approximately 2.5 hours and follows a beautiful route through the tropical vegetation of the region.

Along the way, you'll see banana, orange, avocado, and mango plantations, as well as waterfalls and impressive mountain landscapes.

As you approach Hydroelectric, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy spectacular views toward Machu Picchu Mountain.

Lunch at Hydroelectric Station

Upon arrival at the Hydroelectric Station, enjoy lunch before beginning the final section of the day's trek.

Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes

From Hydroelectric, walk for approximately 2 hours along the railway tracks and the Urubamba River Valley toward Aguas Calientes (2,040 m / 6,693 ft), the town located at the base of Machu Picchu.

Arrival in Aguas Calientes

Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and enjoy some free time to explore the town, relax, or prepare for the following day's visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

The most anticipated day of your 4-Day Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu begins early in the morning.

Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu

After breakfast, take the shuttle bus from Aguas Calientes up to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary.

Optional Huayna Picchu Mountain

If you have previously purchased an entrance ticket for Huayna Picchu Mountain, you can complete the additional hike according to your assigned entry time. This optional mountain hike takes approximately 2 hours round trip and is completed independently unless otherwise arranged.

Guided Tour of Machu Picchu

Meet your professional guide for a guided tour of Machu Picchu lasting approximately 2 hours.

El Tour Inca Jungle 4 días y 3 noches es una experiencia única en la región de Cusco, Perú, que combina aventura, cultura e impresionantes paisajes. Atraviesa la imponente geografía andina y la exuberante selva alta mediante actividades como ciclismo de montaña, senderismo, rafting y tirolesa. Dia 1: Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa Maria

Los recogeremos de su hotel a las 06:00 am en nuestro transporte privado y viajaremos por un promedio de cuatro horas para llegar a Carrizales o San Luis donde comenzaremos nuestra aventura, en el trayecto pasaremos por el Abra Málaga que está a 4.300 msnm. Bajaremos en bicicleta un promedio de tres horas a Santa María donde almorzaremos. A lo largo del camino, veremos la típica vegetación de un bosque nuboso apreciando plantaciones de café y hojas de coca, hasta llegar al pueblo de Santa María donde vamos a pasar la noche en una casa de huéspedes. Este día por la tarde, tendremos la opción de hacer canotaje (rafting) por 1 hora y media en el Río Vilcanota (Clase III, IV).

Dia 2: Santa Maria – Cocalmayo – Santa Teresa

espués de un desayuno saludable, a las 6:30 am aprox. estaremos listos para hacer el primer día de caminta rumbo a Santa Teresa. Las primeras dos horas de nuestro tour serán en ascenso, en el trayecto tendremos varias paradas para poder aprender un poco más de la riqueza en flora y fauna de la zona, una de ellas será en una casa de familia donde nos relajaremos por unos 20 minutos aquí también podremos abastecernos de agua y unas ricas frutas tropicales de la zona, más adelante cruzaremos una sección del Camino Inca que antiguamente conectaba la ciudad de los incas Machupicchu con la ciudad de Vilcabamba, aquí nuestro guía nos explicara un poco más de la historia de los incas y también el sistema de comunicación que tenían en esos tiempos, en este punto también tendremos unas de las vistas más impresionantes de todo el cañón del Huancarccasa. Luego descenderemos hasta el pueblo de Quellomayo donde pararemos para almorzar, después de un delicioso almuerzo y un reparador descanso en las hamacas de nuestro restaurante continuaremos con las 02 últimas horas de caminata hasta los baños termales de Cocalmayo donde tendremos tiempo libre para poder disfrutar de este lugar especial, después de los baños termales nos dirigiremos a nuestro destino final el poblado de santa teresa lugar donde pasaremos nuestra segunda noche en un hostal.

Dia 3: Santa Teresa – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes

Luego del desayuno en horas de la mañana tendremos la opción de realizar el canopi o zip line, para nos dirigimos hacia santa teresa la vieja donde encontramos otra oroya para cruzar el mismo río Urubamba, y luego conducirnos por una caminata de 2 horas y media en dirección a la Hidroeléctrica, a lo largo de este camino observaremos plantaciones de frutas como banana, naranja, palta, mango y observaremos también algunas cataratas, finalmente podremos observar la montaña de Machupicchu, luego llegamos a hidroeléctrica donde tendremos el almuerzo, posteriormente realizaremos 2 horas más de caminata a lo largo de la línea férrea hasta el poblado de Aguas Calientes, luego de tendremos tiempo libre como para pasear por el pueblo o solo para desea descansar.

Dia 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Temprano en la mañana, luego del desayuno, abordaremos el Bus para subir a la Ciudadela Inca de Machu Picchu, si tiene incluido el Boleto de Ingreso para visitar la Montaña Huayna Picchu puede hacer la caminata por aproximadamente 2 horas de ida y vuelta (Esta recorrido es sin Guía). La visita guiada a cargo de nuestro Guía en la ciudadela de Machu Picchu será visitando la Plaza Principal, la Torre Circular, el Sagrado Reloj Solar, los cuartos reales, el templo de las Tres Ventanas y las canteras, por más de dos horas aproximadamente.

Posteriormente también se le dará tiempo libre para pasear por la ciudadela, tomar fotografías y estar en este relajarse en este lugar mágico y místico. Para luego descender a Aguas Calientes y tomaremos el tren de regreso a Ollantaytambo, donde nuestro personal estará esperando por usted, para el transporte en bus a Cusco y también lo lleve a su hotel.
